Cross Laced Leather Bracelet

This is probably one of the easiest DIY leather bracelet ideas on this list. It’s simple design makes it easy to create, but it still has lots of customization options such as changing the color of the bracelet itself or the lacing.

Mystery Braid Leather Bracelet

When people think of leather bracelets, mystery braid bracelets are probably the first thing that come to mind. Despite their intricate look, they’re almost as easy as the cross laced leather bracelet pattern above and are a common first project for those looking to get into leatherworking.

If you’re feeling super creative, you either make them from scratch, or you can start using a kit that pre-makes some of the pieces for you. You can buy bracelet blanks and cut the lines for braiding or you can buy pre-cut mystery braid bracelets and all you have to do is braid them.

Making from scratch:

Decorated Leather Cuff Bracelet

Leather cuff bracelets can be as simple or complicated as you like. You can stamp them, carve them, paint them, stitch them, and more!

Nameplate Leather Bracelet

This is one of my personal favorites. Sure, you could stamp letters onto a leather cuff bracelet (as I mentioned in the above idea), but the addition of the nameplate really brings it to the center of attention. Plus, there are so many options for personalization such as adding a background piece and border stitching (similar to what you see me wearing in the very first photo at the beginning of this post).

Unfortunately, I haven’t released a tutorial video or materials list for this design yet — I’m working on it, I promise! However, my nameplate keychain tutorial is similar, so you could probably use that to determine how to make the nameplate leather bracelet. You can also check out my nameplate keychain supplies and tools list.

Arrow Shape Leather Bracelet

Adding dimensions to your leather bracelets by adding additional layers of leather to the top can allow you to create some really unique designs.
